Rádio Capoeira

Rádio Capoeira – A Rádio que ginga com você (which translates to “The Radio That Sways with You”), is a Brazilian internet radio station based in Guapimirim, a municipality in the state of Rio de Janeiro, that runs 24/7 programming featuring capoeira music, interviews, event coverage, and podcasts. It was founded in 2012 by Mestre Paulão Kikongo. The station is dedicated to the art and culture of Capoeira and other Afro-Brazilian traditions. Its mission is to boost visibility for capoeiristas (capoeira practitioners), showcasing their music, videos, events, and artistic output. Rádio Capoeira actively works to spread Afro-Brazilian civilizing values and fight against racism and all forms of discrimination.
