Rádio Aracati

Rádio Aracati is a Brazilian internet radio station based in the city of Aracati, in the state of Ceará, that broadcasts solely in Portuguese, catering to the local population and providing them with up-to-date information on current events. Its programming often features classic popular music, including music from the decades of the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s; MPB (Brazilian Popular Music/Música Popular Brasileira); “Brega” music (a style of Brazilian romantic popular music); and Sertanejo (Brazilian country music). The station’s format is eclectic, meaning it broadcasts a mixture of genres and content rather than focusing on just one. It also provides news, sports, and religious programming. Rádio Aracati uses the slogan “A RÁDIO QUE É TUDO DE BOM” (Portuguese for “The radio that is everything good”).
