Rádio CBN São Paulo, broadcasting on 105.1 FM, is a prominent Brazilian radio station based in São Paulo, the capital of the state of the same name, that is renowned for its 24-hour news coverage. The all-news model of Rede CBN (Central Brazilian News) was pioneering and is currently present in the main Brazilian cities, with four owned stations and 30 affiliates. The station is owned by Sistema Globo de Rádio, a division of Grupo Globo, one of Brazil’s largest media conglomerates. It was a pioneer in Brazil for adopting an “all news” format, providing 24-hour journalistic programming. The station’s slogan, “A rádio que toca notícia” (“The radio that plays the news”), reflects its commitment to delivering accurate and impartial news.
