Rádio Colina FM 105.1 is a Brazilian radio station based in the city of Colina, in the state of São Paulo, that focuses on popular Brazilian music genres like both sertanejo universitário (modern country) and classic or “root” sertanejo. Its programming is centered on popular music, particularly the Sertanejo genre, which is very popular in Brazil’s countryside and among its rural populations. Colina FM stands out as the first radio station in Brazil’s Vale do Rio Grande region to feature a 24-hour sertanejo (Brazilian country music) playlist. The station often transforms its name to “Rádio Barretão FM” during the event and provides special, live coverage. It is operated by Grupo Monteiro de Barros, a media group that operates several other local radio stations.
